You’ll Have an Axe-cellent Time!
REPETION BASED LEARNING
Our axe throwing sessions employ modeling and consistent practice to enhance participants' hand-eye coordination, foster socialization skills, and promote enjoyment within a welcoming and non-critical environment. We integrate a fully immersive method that aids our students in developing self-assurance and self-reliance.
Whether you have axe throwing experience or not, our curriculum caters to your individual abilities and needs.
Through our comprehensive 8-week program, participants are guided towards achieving success in Axe Throwing, following our effective three-step process.
Introduction To Axe Throwing, Axe Throwing 101, and our Game Lounge provides for repetition and positive reinforcement strategies that are cornerstones for teaching to those on the spectrum.
AXE THROWING 101
Axe throwing offers an engaging and enjoyable experience, yet it demands patience and dedication. Our instructors will lead participants through warm-up routines and matches, demonstrating and assisting in honing axe throwing abilities. This approach aims to cultivate and elevate the skills of our participants.
INTRODUCTION TO AXE THROWING
Instructors will teach you safety protocols, handling, and throwing techniques for various items like cards, ninja stars, and metal axes. You'll receive personalized guidance to match your skill level, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Your safety and fun are our main focus, and our dedicated instructors ensure both throughout the session.
GAME LOUNGE
Positive reinforcement is a great tool for building skills in children (and some adults) with autism. Our game lounge offers an opportunity for our participants to be rewarded for meeting and/ or exceeding our axe-pectations.
