Mandatory Safety Equipment 🛡️

All participants must wear protective gear provided by The SmashIt House during rage room sessions:

  • Provided by The SmashIt House: Gloves, hard hat, and goggles

  • Participant Provided: Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and long-sleeved shirt (coveralls are not guaranteed)

Safety gear must remain on at all times. Failure to comply may result in termination of the session without refund.

Rage Room Guest Policy ⚠️

SmashIt House experiences involve high-energy, high-risk activities. To ensure safety, all participants must follow these rules:

1. Entry Requirements

  • Participants must be in a sound state of mind and body.

  • No alcohol, drugs, or aggressive behavior permitted.

  • Pregnant individuals are not allowed to participate.

  • Valid ID and signed electronic waiver required before entry.

2. Check-In & Arrival

  • Arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow for check-in and safety briefing.

  • Only SmashIt House tools may be used in the room.

  • Sessions will not be shortened for late arrivals; please respect your reserved time slot.

3. Safety Conduct in the Rage Room

  • Follow all staff instructions.

  • Swing or throw objects only toward the designated throw wall.

  • Do not hit the ceiling, non-designated walls, or use sledgehammers on walls.

  • Remain aware of surroundings at all times.

  • Staff may intervene or stop the timer if safety rules are violated.

4. Termination of Session

  • Staff may immediately end the session if unsafe behavior continues.

  • Repeated violations may result in session termination without refund.

5. End of Session

  • Remove all gear and tools and place them in the metal bin outside.

  • For safety and security, video and audio recording is in effect throughout the facility.

Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks ⚡

Rage rooms and other activities at SmashIt House involve unavoidable hazards, including:

  • Flying debris, broken glass, and heavy objects

  • Fast-moving projectiles, slippery surfaces, and rapid movement

  • Risks amplified for individuals with visual impairments, mobility limitations, or serious medical conditions

Some activities cannot be safely accommodated due to these inherent risks. Participation may be declined for safety reasons, applied consistently to all guests.

At The SmashIt House, we have a strict policy of verifying the identity of our customers. We carefully check the information provided in the waiver and compare it with the customer's ID to ensure a match. This process is in place to maintain the safety and security of our facility and all those who visit.
